Brevard County continues to grow, with new restaurants, shopping destinations, entertainment projects, and major developments planned across the Space Coast. Here are several local projects Brevard residents will want to watch.

JACK IN THE BOX PLANS THREE BREVARD LOCATIONS

Jack in the Box is planning a return to Brevard County with three future restaurants proposed for Cocoa, Melbourne, and Palm Bay.

The Brevard locations are part of a larger Central Florida expansion that could bring more than 20 new Jack in the Box restaurants to the region. Specific addresses and opening dates have not yet been announced.

NEW PROFESSIONAL SOCCER STADIUM PROPOSED FOR MELBOURNE

Plans have been unveiled for an approximately 8,000-seat professional soccer stadium and mixed-use development in Melbourne.

The proposed project would include restaurants, shops, gathering areas, and space for community events. In addition to professional soccer matches, the development could host youth tournaments, concerts, farmers markets, recreational leagues, and other activities throughout the year.

LANDING AT SPACE COAST TAKES SHAPE

The Landing at Space Coast is planned as a new grocery-anchored shopping and dining district within the Space Coast Town Center development.

Plans for the 225-acre area include more than 77,000 square feet of retail space, along with restaurants, shops, housing, and other community amenities. Developers hope the project will attract visitors from throughout Brevard County while serving the growing Palm Bay and South Brevard communities.

CHICK-FIL-A MOVES CLOSER TO A NEW TITUSVILLE LOCATION

Plans for a new Chick-fil-A in Titusville have moved forward following city approval of the proposed site plan.

The restaurant is planned for Hickory Hill Boulevard, across from Dutch Bros Coffee. An official construction schedule and opening date have not yet been announced.

RAISING CANE’S PLANNED FOR THE VIERA AREA

Brevard County may soon receive its first Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers restaurant.

Plans have been filed for a location near Viera, reportedly involving the former Bob Evans property in the Melbourne area. The proposed restaurant would include dine-in service and a drive-thru. No official opening date has been released.
