Florida-based series no longer set to film at Fort De Soto Park

The series adaptation of the novel A Land Remembered said 'cut' before rolling even began. Fort De Soto Park was the proposed location for the project's shoot, but environmentalists shared concerns about protected bird, sea turtle, and tortoise species at the park. This morning, the production company sent the St. Pete-Clearwater Film Commission a revised environmental proposal, but by lunch, those plans had changed. They said they no longer wanted to proceed with the permit application that they started.
