From Pensacola to Tallahassee, the Florida Panhandle offers waterfront festivals, live entertainment, historic attractions, and family-friendly events throughout the weekend.
Historic Tall Ship ELISSA Visits Pensacola
When: Friday, August 7–Sunday, August 9, 2026
Where: Palafox Pier, Pensacola
The historic 1877 Tall Ship ELISSA will dock in Pensacola as part of its national Sail 250 voyage. Visitors can explore the vessel during free deck tours, while ticketed day sails and special evening events offer an even closer look at this remarkable piece of maritime history. Free deck tours are scheduled Friday morning and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
First Friday at Railroad Square
When: Friday, August 7, 2026, from 6–9 p.m.
Where: Railroad Square Art District, Tallahassee
Spend Friday evening exploring open galleries, creative shops and local businesses throughout Tallahassee’s Railroad Square Art District. The monthly celebration also features live music, food and opportunities to meet local artists.
Tallahassee Beer Festival
When: Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 2–6 p.m.
Where: Donald L. Tucker Civic Center, Tallahassee
North Florida’s largest beer festival returns with hundreds of craft beers, ciders and other specialty beverages. The indoor event brings together breweries, food and entertainment while raising money for local nonprofit organizations. Guests must be 21 or older.

Jax Beach Summer Fest 2026

Where: 75 First Street North, Jacksonville Beach
Jacksonville Beach hosts a full weekend of summertime entertainment during Jax Beach Summer Fest. The three-day gathering begins Friday afternoon and offers visitors another reason to enjoy the beach, nearby restaurants and the lively Jacksonville Beach community.
Tropical Vibes Cruise
When: Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 7 p.m.
Where: 1501 Riverplace Boulevard, Jacksonville
Enjoy an evening on the St. Johns River during the Tropical Vibes Cruise. The Saturday night outing combines waterfront views and music with a relaxing cruise through downtown Jacksonville.

Central Florida is packed with weekend fun, from Orlando attractions and community festivals to family events, entertainment, and unique local experiences.
AquaGlow at Adventure Island

Where: Adventure Island, Tampa
Adventure Island lights up after dark during AquaGlow, a family-friendly nighttime experience featuring colorful lights, music, glowing entertainment and immersive surprises throughout the water park. Admission and availability should be confirmed in advance.
Summer Nights at Busch Gardens

Where: Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
Summer Nights continues through the weekend with extended park hours, thrill rides after dark, live entertainment, dance parties and seasonal food. Evening entertainment is included with regular park admission.

Viera Park Market & Food Trucks

Action Indonesia at Brevard Zoo

Where: Brevard Zoo, Melbourne
Brevard Zoo celebrates the wildlife, culture and biodiversity of Indonesia with interactive experiences for all ages. The day includes Indonesian dance performances, animal enrichment sessions, keeper talks, crafts and hands-on activities.
Charlie’s TCG Con

Where: Azan Shriners Center, Melbourne
Collectors can browse more than 60 vendor tables filled with Pokémon cards, sports cards, trading cards and other collectibles. The convention also features special guests and live entertainment.

Tampa Bay

Mumford & Sons Prizefighter Tour

Brick Fan Event Tampa 2026

Crafty Critter Saturdays

Bayside Park Concert Series

Where: Bayside Park, Fort Myers Beach
Wrap up the weekend with an outdoor concert near the waterfront at Bayside Park. The event takes place at the corner of Old San Carlos Boulevard and First Street.
Southeast Florida

Art + Mind Day

Miami Spice Restaurant Months

Miami Spice gives diners an opportunity to experience participating restaurants through specially priced three-course menus. Lunch and brunch options are priced at $40, with dinner menus offered at $50 or $65. Reservations are recommended.

Miami Marlins vs. Los Angeles Angels

International Ballet Festival of Miami

Lobsterfest Pub Crawl

Where: Greene and Duval streets, Key West
Explore Key West’s lively bar scene during the annual Lobsterfest Pub Crawl. The ticketed event travels through several participating locations around Greene and Duval streets.
Lobsterfest Duval Street Fair and Concert
When: Saturday, August 8, 2026, from noon–11 p.m.
Where: 100–500 blocks of Duval Street, Key West
The signature event of Key West Lobsterfest fills Duval Street with seafood dishes, artisan vendors, refreshing drinks and a free outdoor concert. Local restaurants serve creative takes on Florida spiny lobster throughout the day.
