  • Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp vs. Gwinnett Stripers — Friday, Sept. 11, 7:05 PM, with First Responders Night and post-game fireworks; the homestand continues through Sunday.
  • Feel Good Friday Market — Friday, Sept. 11, 11 AM–2 PM at Ruby Beach Brewery in Downtown Jacksonville, featuring local food, artisan goods and vendors.

St. Augustine

  • 9/11 Ceremony of Remembrance — 25th Anniversary — Friday, Sept. 11, 8:30 AM at Plaza de la Constitución.
  • Sing Out Loud Music Festival — Friday–Sunday, Sept. 11–13, part of the month-long September music festival with performances throughout St. Augustine.
  • Blackbeard’s Pirate Ball — Friday, Sept. 11, 7–11 PM, a charity celebration hosted by the Ancient City Privateers.
  • St. Augustine Founder’s Day Commemoration — Saturday, Sept. 12, celebrating the founding of St. Augustine.

Titusville

  • Gilded Age Afternoon Tea at Pritchard House — Saturday, Sept. 12, 2–4 PM, featuring a traditional multi-course tea, costumed docents and tours of the historic 1891 home.

Merritt Island

  • Battle of the Horns — Dan Wilborn & Friends — Sunday, Sept. 13, 2–4 PM at the Brevard Veterans Memorial Center, kicking off its 2026–27 concert season.

Tampa Bay

  • Bruno Mars — The Romantic Tour — Saturday & Sunday, Sept. 12–13, 7 PM at Raymond James Stadium. Two back-to-back Tampa shows.
  • The Strokes — Saturday, Sept. 12, at Benchmark International Arena.
  • Arts Fest ’26 — Friday–Sunday, Sept. 11–13, at New Tampa Performing Arts Center, with free music, theater, dance, comedy and other performances.

St. Petersburg / Pinellas

  • Tampa Bay Rays vs. Houston Astros — Friday–Sunday, Sept. 11–13, at Tropicana Field.
  • I Like It HOT! Festival — Saturday & Sunday, Sept. 12–13, at England Brothers Park in Pinellas Park. Hot sauces, salsas, seasonings, food trucks and hundreds of samples; admission and parking are free.
  • Second Saturday ArtWalk — Saturday, Sept. 12, 5–9 PM, including the Costa Rica exhibition opening at Imagine Museum in St. Petersburg.
  • Saturday Sunset Market on St. Pete Beach — Saturday, Sept. 12, with up to 80 local makers, crafters and food vendors near the beach. Free and family-friendly..

Fort Myers

  • Honoring First Responders Concert — 25th Anniversary of September 11 — Friday, Sept. 11, 7:30–9:30 PM at Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall, presented by the Fort Myers Philharmonic.
  • The Birds of Southwest Florida Exhibit — Friday–Sunday at Edison & Ford Winter Estates, featuring the region's native bird life.

Naples / Bonita Springs

  • Through the Light of the Estuary — Friday–Sunday at Rookery Bay Learning Center in Naples, a mixed-media exhibition inspired by the estuary.
  • Second Saturdays Open Farm — Saturday, Sept. 12, 9 AM–1 PM at Empowerment Farm in Naples, with animal encounters, food-forest tours and a farm market.
  • Flamingo Island Flea Market — Friday–Sunday, 8 AM–4 PM in Bonita Springs.

Punta Gorda / Charlotte County

  • Sullivan Street Craft Festival — Saturday, Sept. 12, Punta Gorda.
  • Live Music at Fishermen's Village — Friday, Sept. 11, 5–9 PM and Saturday afternoon and evening in Punta Gorda.
  • 2nd Annual Wicked Window Wars — running throughout the weekend in Punta Gorda, with local businesses decorating for the Halloween season.

  • Science Saturdays: Marine Ecology — Saturday, Sept. 12 at 11 AM, with REEF and a focus on Florida Keys marine ecosystems.
  • Pennekamp Paddle Day — Saturday, Sept. 12, 11 AM–4 PM at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, with a day of paddling and family activities.

Islamorada

  • Swim for Alligator Lighthouse — continuing through Saturday, Sept. 12. This is the standout for me: a signature open-water swim around one of the Keys' iconic landmarks.
  • Son del Mundo Hispanic Heritage Event — Saturday & Sunday, Sept. 12–13, celebrating Hispanic culture, food, arts and traditions in the Keys.
  • Florida Keys Farmers Market — Sunday, Sept. 13, 10 AM–3 PM in Islamorada.

Lower Keys

  • Open Air Market at Boondocks — Saturday, Sept. 12, 9 AM–2 PM at Mile Marker 27.5, featuring local vendors, food and island-made goods.
