This trip was about so much more than just animals (though there were a LOT of incredible ones 👀🐊). We traveled back to Kingston to check in on conservation work YOU helped make possible and to see firsthand how Hope Zoo cares for displaced and injured wildlife.
Gatorland Global & Hope Zoo stepped up in a huge way — taking in injured, displaced, and orphaned animals, providing emergency care, shelter, and long-term support when wildlife needed it most. This zoo isn’t just a place to see animals — it’s a critical wildlife rescue and conservation hub for Jamaica.
On this visit, we also:
• ✔️ Checked in on conservation projects supported by funds YOU helped us raise
• ✔️ Met local families impacted by conservation and rescue efforts
• ✔️ Spent time with our good friend Joey Brown, Curator of Hope Zoo
• ✔️ Got updates on his crocodiles and the incredible work happening behind the scenes
