Jack Sparrow is a highly eccentric individual, characterized by his flamboyant mannerisms and unpredictable behavior. He is a charismatic trickster, but is capable of surprising acts of courage and loyalty when his friends are at stake. He values freedom above all else and possesses an insatiable thirst for adventure and treasure. Mia was diagnosed with Optic Nerve Glioma in October of 2023 at the age of 6. After 4 months of infusions, Mia's body rejected the chemotherapy. Mia switched to another chemotherapy regimen, which she took daily for 161 days before her tumor began growing again, and a 3rd regimen was suggested. Mia's family sought out other options, and in September 2024 they flew to Memphis to have a craniotomy to completely remove Mia's tumor. The surgery was successful in that it removed all of her tumor, but it also removed all of the vision in Mia's right eye. Mia focused all of her bravery and strength on the removal of her tumor - she named TOAST - and has dealt with the loss of vision.
