The Holiday Inn & Suites Clearwater Beach South Harbourside is one of the better hotels in the Clearwater Beach/ St Pete Beach Area. It is within walking distance to the beach, but offers some great recreational activities right at the hotel. The Spash Harbour Water Park. They also have a very smart placement of a litte Miniature Golf Course. This part of the beach is not nearly as crowded as Clearwater Beach and St Pete Beach. Although the hotel is not actually on the beach, it is on the IntraCoastal Waterway with boat docks on backside of hotel. It has a more relaxful atmosphere, and tends to be al ittle cooler. Unlike many hotels who put the course in the hot sun, at the Holiday Inn Harbourside it is located under cover so that you are in the shade. The Holiday Inn Harborside also does a great job with destination weddings. The food is fantastic and the staff very nice.
